Wine-Tasting School

The Wine-Tasting School is for everyone who wants to learn about wine and its secrets.
This introduction to wine is divided in three parts, each lasting 3 hours. The lessons are open to everyone over 18, and are given on the first, second and third wednesday of each month from 8.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. in the shop "La Cave d'Yves".
The School will be closed in July, August and December.

Lesson 1 :

Presentation of the main grape varieties and their characteristics.
Interpretation of the nose and palate (with examples of aromas).
A wine tasting to illustrate the lesson (7 wines).

Lesson 2 :

Illustrated presentation of the French "appellations" system.
A wine tasting to illustrate the lesson (6 wines).

Lesson 3 :

Marrying flavours - Dishes and wines - Why and why not.
A wine tasting to illustrate the lesson (7 wines + savouries).
We must stress that these three lessons will not make you an expert! The course is simply a guided introduction.

Total price for 3 lessons:

From € 165 VAT inc. for the three lessons.
All three lessons must be paid for at registration (no refund from 30 days to the begginning of the first lesson).
Each session is for a group of 9 people.

The presentation can be given in Swedish with a supplement of approximately € 10 per person.
