The Preljocaj Ballet
Gathers 24 dancers around Angelin Preljocaj, considered by many

the best contemporary French choregraphs. In addition to its international
rounds, all year round, the ballet offers public rehearsals and
creations in Aix.

Les Jardins d’Albertas are classified as historic monuments. They
were created in 1740 by the marquis Jean-Baptiste d’Albertas, 1st
president at the National Audit Officeof Provence. Terraces, walls, gardens,
ponds structure the landscape and make a reference to the traditional “jardin à la
française” (Lenôtre, d’Argenville) and to Italians
influences so present in Provence.
