Marcel Sahut: 1901-1990, French classical painter
Behind Sahut's eclectism is the story of a whole life, the life of an advertiser, illustrator, decorator and artist. Sahut was born in 1901, the son of a stonecutter. He was also one of the co-founders, in 1921, of the first modern art exhibition in the provinces. He was inspired by the journeys he made in Europe throughout his life, but it was in Provence, where he settled, that he found the light which was so valuable in his work.

The studio comprises two rooms:
- the painting studio
- the drawing studio (reproductions of drawings for the theatre, pen-and-ink nudes, etchings)
